HCU offers new Master of Science in CyberSecurity online in Fall 2023

If you have an analytical mind and enjoy sleuthing and detective work, HCU has a new online Master of Science in Cybersecurity degree program for you. Launching in Fall 2023, the graduate degree program will provide the next generation of professionals with the knowledge and skills to detect cyber threats and online vulnerabilities. Curriculum for the program was developed by Dr. Justin Joshuva and Dr. Steve Lyford, with input from engineering faculty and College of Science and Engineering Advisory Board members with extensive expertise in the field in response to growing need in the industry.

HCU offers new Information Systems Degree Program

Prospective students interested in technology can now pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems at Houston Baptist University (HBU). The new degree officially launched in the fall 2021 semester and is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to analyze computing problems and design, implement and evaluate technology solutions in business and commercial environments.

Interested in enhancing your IT career by studying cloud computing?

The HCU Cloud Club is a student-led, student-driven user group focused on learning about the Cloud via AWS technologies. The club's main goal is to help members learn the skills required for cloud computing and to provide hands-on experience with AWS. This is achieved through a variety of activities, including workshops, presentations, hackathons, and collaborative projects.
